As a former U.S Figure Skating champion and Master-rated coach, Sara brings to the practice a commitment to precision, a passion for educating, and a proven ability to build lasting relationships. She draws experience from a variety of different fields, as she has backgrounds in administration and education, studied physical anthropology at Texas A&M University, and developed instructional programs affiliated with professional sports teams, including the Dallas Stars and Allen Americans. Sara has also spoken at national and international conferences about the importance of self-confidence and communication. Consequently, Sara easily relates to patients with interest in facial aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. She aims to provide each patient at Schmidt Facial Plastic Surgery with a first-class experience. Sara’s shift into the healthcare arena stemmed from her intrigue for medicine/surgery and her desire to help others. Her experience in working with non-profit organizations and veterans will undoubtedly make her a valuable asset to the pro-bono effort initiated by Dr. Schmidt to reconstruct our war heroes’ combat-related facial injuries.
